The story of Patapouf, a salon founded on passion and diploma

From career change to opening the salon, the story of a passion that became a profession.

Laura Le Mouel is the founder of Patapouf, a certified grooming salon opening in Mouans-Sartoux in February 2025.

Before becoming a groomer, I worked for several years in the banking sector. One day, I decided to change everything to follow my true passion: animal welfare. I trained extensively, eventually obtaining my diploma in dog and cat grooming, and then a certification in ozone therapy.

Patapouf was born from this career change, with the desire to offer support that is both professional and caring.

I was looking for a name for the salon, without success. One night, I dreamt that my sister asked me: "But why don't you call your salon Patapouf, like your first stuffed animal?"

Upon waking, it was obvious: it would be Patapouf, a nod to the plush dog that went everywhere with me as a child.

Patapouf is based on four simple values.

The diploma is central to this approach. In a sector where many salons are not certified, Patapouf has chosen training and certification, particularly in ozone therapy.
